Nii Anyetei Kwakwranya I was a true and brave son of Kwakwranya We of La , Accra, Ghana. He became La Mantse in 1838 to protect and guide his people.
Nii Anyetei Kwakwranya II became the La Mantse and ruled from 1955 to 1987. His notable achievements included his reign as La Mantse for thirty-two years and his appointment as the Commissioner of Social Welfare and Corporative of Ghana under the Supreme Military Council government in 1977.
